Poison, Patience & Precision | Nilfgaard Tactical Decision This deck is built around Poison pressure and careful decision-making. It rewards patience, planning, and knowing when to commit your resources—but it can punish careless plays just as quickly. I have lost games with this deck because I overlooked a detail or rushed a decision. That is part of the challenge: learning to pilot it well, refining your choices, and gradually unlocking its full potential. HOW TO APPROACH THE DECK • Plan your Poison plays ahead. Applying Poison is only the first step—think about how you will finish the target and what your opponent can do in response. • Pay attention to sequencing. Before playing a card, check the board, your remaining options, and whether a different order would give you a better result. • Balance control with points. Removing an opposing threat matters, but you still need to build your own score. Avoid spending too many resources chasing a single target. • Be patient with your key cards. A strong play now may leave you without the answer you need later. Decide what you can afford to commit and what you want to preserve. ROUND MANAGEMENT In Round 1, aim to establish your game plan without committing everything just to secure the round. In Round 2, assess your remaining hand before choosing to push or pass. Winning the first round does not automatically mean you should bleed. For the final round, try to keep a coherent combination of pressure and points. Think about your last few plays before you reach them. A DECK TO LEARN AND MASTER This is a demanding deck for players who enjoy thoughtful gameplay and improving through practice. Take your time, learn from mistakes, and experiment as you go. Every decision matters. That is exactly what makes the deck worth learning. — Happy RO Gaming
