Play lots of crimes to trigger Intimidate, Townsfolk, and Whoreson Lackeys. Try to play locations in rounds 1 or 2. Save Cleaver for round 3 if possible. Lots of combos in this deck that allow for multiple crime cards to be played in one turn. For example: Mercenary Contact -> Ferko -> Novigradian Justice triggers Intimidate 2 times while playing for a lot of tempo. But if you use Ferko to play a card like Excommunication or Count Reuven's treasure then you can actually play 3 crime cards in one turn. Boris is good here because this deck naturally spawns a lot of units and the LP leader allows us to use the perfect amount of charges to get the refund to trigger. Novigrad + Count Reuvens Treasure give carryover that pair well with Townsfolk. Townsfolk will also play as an Intimidate 2 because of passive leader ability, and leader charges can be spent that allows them to be quite explosive. Sir Skewertooth in addition to a lot of the unitless cards (crimes and locations), allows for this deck to have good options against control heavy decks. Bare Knuck Brawlers can take care of Harmony by getting Saskia if you can build up the gold.
