Hey there, Reached Pro rank with this deck in August 2026. This deck leans heavily into a control playstyle with cards like Heatwave, Eskel: Pathfinder (which could probably be replaced with Geralt: Igni as of September 2026 to be honest) Tesham Mutna Sword and Spores. Which means, it will play for considerable less points on its own side of the board compared to the Devotion version of Vampires while requiring way more interaction with the opponents board, i.e.: in order to succeed with this deck you got to have a general understanding of the meta and for which cards on the opponents board you want to save your removal for. Gameplan: Round 1: You definitely want to win this round in order to secure last say. If you start, you ideally want to open with Portal (i.e. mulligan Fiend/Garkain away if you have Portal in your opening hand). Then progressively build your engines. If you play against a control-heavy deck it might be better to start of slowly and throw a couple of bronzes other than Fleder first. Got to adjust according to the match-up! Round 2: Whether you bleed (and how much) or not depends heavily on the match-up and Round 1 investment in terms of golden cards, Fleder and leader charges. Round 3: Generally speaking you want to play a buffed Regis: Reborn last. Be aware that unlike Renfri Vampires (and to a somewhat lesser extent Devotion Vampires) Control Vampires has a way less explosive finisher. There are a multitude of decks that can outpoint you in a short round 3 and the way how you want to play the last round depends on your opponents deck and your awareness of what threats are left in it! Either you save your hard-removal (Heatwave, Eskel, Tesham Mutna Sword) for a short round 3 or couple of your engines alongside some removal for a mid-sized (like 5-6~cards) round 3. Your call! GL&HF Match-up examples: vs Deadeye Ambush

vs Jackpot

vs Melitele (Shuffle)
