This is the first deck I've played that got me to Pro rank. With around a 72% win rate. I started with a monsters fruits deck and climbed from the bottom to rank 8, where I got stuck. No matter what I did with the monsters deck, or any other deck I tried it seemed I was stuck at rank 8 for weeks. That is until this monstrosity... I found a similar variation of this deck, and didn't really like the way it played. So I adjusted it first to include a mage package using spell Slingers together with Arbalest, and I started finding more success. Managing to climb to rank three with it where I got stuck again. It seemed the Mages required too much setup. So I decided to ditch them, and re-engineer the deck to be a full on Ping Powerhouse. Climbing easily from rank 3 to Pro for the first time only losing a few matches along the way. Some key points about this stack are to always pay attention to which special card is in your hand. I try to keep necromancy in my hand, so that I can use it to revive a Onager. That way when I Golden Necker, I can use the Royal decree to grab Vernon Roche. Mulligan's matter in the stack, but they're very easy. Basically, always put back the Secret service, Roche, Royal Decree, Kaer Seren, and the Witchers, basically all of the targets for Nekker. Try to always save Shani and leader to replay an Arbalest from grave in ground two or three as a first move. This deck loves blue coin, and I almost always try to 2-0 when I get blue coin. If you get blue coin always try to drop an Onager and crystal skull it as your first move. It forces them to waist a major removal spell early to deal with it, and you don't really care because you just get the Onager back with Necromancy. Always try to get an Arbalest in your opening hand, it's important to have one in your graveyard before round two, so you can bring it back with Shani. Also try to have Shani in your opening hand, or R2 hand. In a pinch you can use Royal Decree to grab her, but it's more productive to grab Roche with it off Nekker, so try to Mulligan for her if you can. Save Yennifer for when your opponent goes wide, and use your pingers to ensure the most number of units are at the highest power level to maximize her ability. I like to play her the turn after the Siege masters come out, because they can reset her ability to maximize the damage output. Try to play the Ship Ballista before your Nekker, usually in round two. That way you can use it's ability on the turn you Nekker for more carry over. I use Phillipa to play catch up if I'm behind, or if they drop a major threat early on the round to wipe it out. Always Nekker after you get two Arbalests out, or after you leader targetting an Arbalest, and don't be afraid to Nekker in round one if you need to. This deck is very good at 2-0 and if you have a Shani in hand, Necromancy, etc. then it can be safe to Nekker round 1 and Shani round two. I like to Mulligan away Griffen Witchers as well, because I found the most success when they come out into round three. Especially after a R3 Nekker/ Roche thinning out the deck out to 0 cards. Trollololo is really just a win more card in this deck, So don't be afraid to use him as bait for locks and seizes. Drop Sergeant before your second Onager in ranged row, so you can get some immediate pings off Onager the turn you okay it. There are lots of interesting lines of play in here, I had a blast playing it this season. Against point slam decks, fight hard for R1 and go 2-0 or push for a long R3 of your hand is less than ideal. Against agro decks, throw round 1, pass on 7 cards, Surprise Nekker in round two and Shani R3. Against heavy control decks fight hard for R1, bleed R2 for a short R3. Try to save the Nekker/Roche okay for R3 if you can, but that's not always possible. Anyway, enjoy the deck, it's solid.
