My favorite homebrew deck. No Renfri, no beast-centered. I have always wanted to reach pro rank with an unpopular deck I made myself. I reached pro three separate times with this deck whenever I returned. This deck takes some practice bc you have several important setup goals each game. Key things to remember: -Still very winnable even if Rioghan gets banished by squirrel. -Thin your deck to fewer than 3 cards for Compass. Anglerfish x2 / Tempest+Torrential rain x2 / Matah Huuri / Oneiromancy (Compass if mulligan got fucked up, or against reverse-mill) - If needed, use one storm per round you commit to win. Two storms on round 3 is ideal tho. - Your opponent knows Messenger is the key card. You will regret it if you dry-play it. Try your best to set rain/storm before you play it. -Melusine is ideal for bleeding on round 2 - If your opponent plays cards on only one row, you can use Operator+Messenger to utilize another row. -Row effect (rain/storm) still activates after you pass first. This sometimes gives you a lead in the card number. -Do not play squirrel against NG Tip: If you have total 2 rain on enemy rows and Bride is in graveyard, you can do Compass-Fucusuya-Bride-Rite-Rioghan. This is better than just Compass-Fucusuya-Rioghan. Tough decks to deal with: Armor (Soldiers, pirates) or high-power/fewer units Heavy-control such as NG-Enslave Heavy-control on your graveyard Yeah, it is stressful and hard, but don't give up. You can still win somehow.
