Deck plays in fairly linear-ly early because the deck needs to play an early Troll Porter to make cycling through cards as easy as possible, and the fewer the better fit cycling The easiest way to play the deck as I've found is to: 1: Mulligan as many high provision cards away as possible, prioritizing Roach, Magic Compass, and Morkvarg since you can't play them. 2: Play down High Provision cards or use Snowdrop, Scroll, or Strays of Spalla to put the golds back in your deck so that Porter doesn't eat them. 3: Use leader ability so you don't brick Morkvarg, and Porter for 6-8 depending on luck. From there, the idea is to figure out how to finish thinning for Magic Compass, and to get your Shupe's Day Off in to the grave, so you can start cycling Shupe. Depending on what's happened in the game, things start to get muddy. The hope is that you'll have enough tutors to continue to play shupe, and recycle. Important to note, if you play Compass R1 for Lippy, then pass to R2, Lippy will be in your grave, so after your next Magic Compass, you won't need to thin all of the cards again, which makes getting to 3 or 4 Shupe's Day Offs a lot easier Though the deck is really draw dependent, and when you draw bad you're just playing Lippy Shupe with less cool cards.
