Back in the beta days of Gwent I loved to play NR siege deck with Villentretenmerth - burning a big chunk of units to finish up Round 3. This deck gives me similar vibes: Pretty Midrange with enough removal and big finishers. This deck can make really much fun, when piloted right. It has very few bad starting hands. It can be hard, when opponent goes very tall fast with units (14+) or when going very wide. Against many decks you can survive a long R1, but try to keep R2 and R3 shorter. Mulligan: Gord, Backup Plan (for Simlas) fish for Frog Mating Season and engines Leader charges should be mostly used to set up Schirrú. Exceptions are boosting engines out of removal range (keep in mind some decks can deal 9+ damage, don't waste it!) Enchanted Armor to buff Filavandrel, Schirrú, Gord or engines Simlas for tempo play or removal with Backup Plan (up to 10 damage on last played unit, mostly 6-8) or Bountiful Harvest Filavandrel has many options: 9P -> Call Of The Forest, Water of Brokilon 8P -> Frog Mating Season, Isengrim's Council 7P -> Shaping Nature (echo card) Call Of The Forest: 6P Schirrú or engines Freixenet: very powerful engine, good target for Vitality. Young Dryads support every Nature Special card play Frog Mating Season: very strong card - can carry whole rounds. Don't try to clog your board, leave the round before! Pavko Gale: Pawel Burza comes to help you in a long round. Helps to set up Circle of Life Harald Gord: mulligan away in R1 if you need better hand. Play as last or next-to-last card (before Schirrú, but think about tall punish) in R3 Fauve: call pull all special cards (besides Backup Plan) Ida: purify or 9P play with frogs Treant Boar: Helps to set up Circle of Life Morenn: hold lock for big threats or 2 damage Natures's Rebuke and Circle Of Life for removal Bountiful Harvest & Circle Of Life: best boost targets are Schirrú, Filavandrel, Gord or engines Backup Plan: Up to 5 damage on last played unit. Should mostly be played with Simlas Dryad's Caress: unlock engines, use on Freixenet or simply to use frog boost Cat Witcher Adept: up to 9 Vitality on full row - together with two frogs +9 power in 3 turns. Or use on Freixenet for cooldown reduction. Oakcritters: up to 10 point play for 4p and easy targets to Frog Mating Season You can reach Pro Rank with it, if you play well. I would say it is a low to mid Tier 2 deck. In an older version Mahakam Pass would fit in, but it got to expensive with 11p.
