This Selfwound deck combines classic Skellige self-damage synergies with an explosive finisher built around Svalblod and Dagur Two Blades. Once Dagur is established, Svalblod can deal massive damage across the board while simultaneously generating huge boosts, often creating point swings that opponents simply cannot match. The deck includes multiple ways to spawn Bear Abominations, allowing you to repeatedly trigger Svalblod's deploy ability and extract even more value from Dagur. Tempest on Rain can further amplify your payoff by continuously damaging enemy units and feeding additional boosts to Dagur throughout the round. One of the deck's most oppressive combinations is Artis paired with Crystal Skull. Protecting Artis early can be devastating for the opponent, as every unit played starts taking damage. In some matchups, this allows you to pass at seven cards and watch your opponent struggle to catch up without overcommitting resources. Beyond the headline combos, the deck is packed with efficient Selfwound synergies. Knut can repeatedly damage resilient targets such as Olgierd, while cards like Savage Bear help activate Queensguard and other self-damage payoffs. The deck also features excellent thinning, often reducing your deck to just two cards. This gives you exceptional consistency and ensures you reliably find your key pieces while playing nearly your entire deck. Most Selfwound decks struggle with drawing their gold cards consistently, often leaving key finishers stranded or forcing awkward sequencing. This version solves that issue with a unique twist—its thinning package and structure make it far more reliable, letting you consistently access your gold engines and execute your game plan without compromise. If left unchecked, Dagur can reach absurd numbers, turning every point of damage into additional value and making the Svalblod combo one of the most explosive endgames available to Skellige.
