This Renfri Skellige deck runs an unusual 26-card setup for a very specific reason: after playing Renfri, I want Magical Compass to offer a Neutral card pool rather than being forced into Skellige options. Since Renfri requires 25 units, the extra card allows me to meet that condition while still including Compass.
The deck utilizes the classic discard package for efficient thinning, often reducing the deck to just 1-2 remaining cards depending on coin and draw sequencing. This consistency helps find key golds while maintaining strong point output throughout the game.
Most of the unit lineup consists of high base-power bodies, creating flexibility in both deckbuilding and gameplay. In many matchups, this allows Triss: Meteor Shower to generate significant value, especially in longer rounds. However, the deck is not locked into a single game plan. Against specific threats, it's often correct to pivot into a Geralt finisher instead.
For greedier matchups, the deck also has access to a powerful Regis: Bloodlust line. Combined with Renfri's leader ability, Regis can create explosive swing turns and punish opponents who overcommit to the board.
Overall, the deck focuses on consistency, flexible win conditions, and strong pointslam potential, adapting its finishers to the matchup rather than relying on a single end-game strategy.
