Simple to play: Boost your enemy, and then use the boost for your benefit and/or reset/destroy the boosted unit. This is weak against destroy, poison, and reset.
Notes: If you have Daerlan Soldiers in your hand, do not play "Battle Stations!" until you have played Daerlan Soldiers. The number of them in your deck combined with "Battle Stations!" drawing before playing gives you a high likelihood of drawing another and weakening the value of the Battle Stations!.
Thinning+Point Swing Options:
- Daerlan Soldiers with Nilfguardian Knight or Ard Feainn Tortoise
- Battle Stations!
Options for Removing the Enemy's Boost:
- Vilgefortz (anything you bring out probably will be worse than the 30pt deficit you just created)
- Beauclair (Deploy ability bypasses defenders. Not only do you nullify the boosts you have given the enemy for the round by boosting your unit, but you also give them a points deficit by resetting their unit.)
- Geralt: Igni (Bypasses defenders, and the 25 point requirement is not difficult to create.)
Noteworthy Interaction:
- Play Sangreal on False Ciri when they are on the opponent's side for an instant point swing and purification of the negative infused affect. Combine this with Cahir Dyffryn and/or Milton de Peyrac-Peyran for an even greater point swing with no downsides.
- Guillaume de Launfal's grace can be easily triggered to steal defender or resilience.
