I simply want to share my variation of a Scoia'tael trap & ambush deck. It is a low cost, and easy to use advanced deck that anyone can tweak, to fit their preferred strategy or gameplay, or use as it is. Recommended strategies are listed below: Deploy Angus Bri Cri before using other cards that can create or spawn Elven Deadeyes. Create or spawn as much Elven Deadeyes as you can muster before deploying Vernossiel on the melee row to maximize its effect. Deploy and spring as many traps and or artifact as you can, on a single round, before you deploy Eldain to maximize its effect. Cards that have a movement effect can be used to counter defenders or to disallow enemy units from using their row specific orders. Using Circle of Life; Sorceress of Dol Blathanna; and or Vrihedd Sappers, in that specific order, is a good combination that you can use. Deploy and manually spring Serpent Trap or Pitfall Trap, if there are no other enemy units, for an instant kill. Using Deception; Crushing Trap; and Elven Scout, in that order, will give your Elven Scout an instant boost. Scenario (Feign Death) If scenario card is used, the basic recommendation is to deploy Vanadáin or Elven Scribe on Chapter 2. This spawns you a free Elven Deadeye in the process, or 1 less counter to deal with if Elven Scribe is the card you chose. Another option would be to deploy Sorceress of Dol Blathanna on Chapter 1. On Chapter 2, deploy Elven Scribe 1st and then use the free Waylay. After you''re done using Waylay, use your sorceress's 'order'. This gives you 2 less counters on your Elven Scribe, that you have to deal with after its deployment. The most efficient option is to deploy Elven Scribe on Chapter 1 and then use Call of the Forest on Chapter 2. After using Call of the Forest, choose Vanadáin and deploy. This has the combined effect of the suggestions above. *Note* Using call of the Forest on Chapter 2 isn't recommended if you don't have Eldain; Iorveth; and or Vernossiel on hand. Hope that you guys like it. Enjoy and good luck!
