The main feature of this deck is activating Kimbolt on the same turn you play him. It can be tricky in control matchups (Pirates, Nilfgaard). You can make this work thanks to Redanian Secret Service. 1. Play Kimbolt, then buff 1 Service and two other 2 other units . 2. Give Kimbolt a shield via your leader ability, then summon Service with 3 power and give it a shield as well ( Aim for 5-power unit). 3. Purify either Ronvid the Incessant, Radovid: Judgment, or in the worst case Kimbolt . 4. Summon a 5-power unit (usually a Kaedweni Revenant or Kerack Marine). - You can skip using a leader charge on Service if you used Dandelion in Round 1. - You have the option not to buff Service to Aim for 4-power unit if you want Tactics Mulligan all bricks and try to find Ronvid and Dandelion. Play Dandelion using either shield leader or Tactical Advantage. If he survives 1 turn, buff Service once. If he survives further, buff Anséis, Ships, and everything else, except 4-power bronze units including Radovid. Ronvid should be played for Revenants in next rounds, ideally under a ship. To win Round 1, you can use Meve . In next rounds try to play Revenant via Amphibious Assault (usually Doomed). Play Soldiers with buff , summon Ronvid, and protect your Revenant. Use Kimbolt-Service combo. Tips & Tricks - Avoid buffing Kimbolt with Dandelion — he already became 8 under shield, and if buffed , he is vulnerable to control "power under 9". - You can buff Radovid to 6 if you plan to summon 6 power unit - Don’t bother purifying block on Kimbolt — his counter resets at the start of your turn, when it was blocked during the opponent’s turn. - Pass in a way that allows Mave to activate her ability. If you have 2 cooldowns and you think your opponent cannot get ahead enough in one turn, pass. - Don’t be afraid to spend all your leader charges — for Anséis there is plenty of buffs zeal and Dandelion. - Revenant can destroy 4-power unit if Radovid is on the board, or 6-power unit if Boiling Oil is in your hand. - If you only have 2 Service left, buff them all or dont touch them with Kimbolt. The Hardest Part The most difficult part of this deck is correctly activating Kimbolt. He may seem simple, but he’s not. The main problem is he always wants to choose 3 cards, even when you don’t need it. You want to keep four 4 power bronze units because your units all have 4 power zeal orders. If your deck only has 4 bronze units, buffing them to 5 made imposible for you to summon them when in you hand only 4 power units with order .
